Q. On what types of hair does the True Balance System work?

A . The True Balance System works on ALL types of hair, regardless of hair type, color, or texture.

Q. When should I begin using the True Balance Maintenance program products?

A . If your initial (first test before using any Corrective Treatment) True Balance Analyzer color result indicates you are in the Balanced Zone Green, you begin using the True Balance Maintenance program products right away.

If your True Balance Analyzer color result indicates that you are in Zone 1 (environmental damage) or Zone 2 (damage from chemical processing), you begin with Corrective Treatment by simply following the directions on the back of the bottle. After initial Corrective Treatment, continue using the Corrective Treatment as a daily conditioner until bottle contents are finished. After Corrective Treatment bottle contents are finished, you THEN begin using the True Balance Maintenance program products.

Note: True Balance Balancing Shampoo is used before each Corrective Treatment application, and later used before using either of the True Balance Balanced Zone Conditioners (after Corrective Treatment bottle contents are finished) as part of the Maintenance program.

Q. How does True Balance make hair grow stronger and longer?

A . True Balance Corrective Treatment and Maintenance products are formulated with Equalizing Systems that restore and maintain hair's True Isoionic Balance. At True Isoionic Balance, the hair's cuticles are tightly closed giving support to the hair shaft and allowing the Antioxidizing and Special Conditioning Ingredients to remain inside of hair and not wash out with every shampoo. Because the cuticles are tightly closed, brushing and combing will encounter no resistance and hair won't break. Hair will not only grow stronger, longer and healthier, it will grow faster!

Tip: Thanks to a worldwide patented technology, you can Analyze Your Hairä to determine the true condition of your hair, and identify the True Balance Corrective Treatment and/or Maintenance program that is right for you. With one True Balance treatment, hair can be restored to the ideal healthy state of true isoionic balance, returning shine and silky resiliency. Follow with the True Balance Maintenance program and the damaging effects from exposure to the environment and free radical damage can be minimized. You will achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful, shiny hair that will grow stronger and longer!

Q. If my hair is not chemically processed, and if I think my hair is healthy, then why should I analyze my hair and use True Balance products?

A. The only way to determine that your hair is in a healthy Isoionic balanced state is to Analyze Your Hairä. If it is determined that your hair is healthy, and in a neutral/balanced (isoionic balanced) state, the only way to be sure you will maintain your hair in that state is to use True Balance Maintenance products. Lifestyles, styling products, and styling routines often change, and with the added damage from environmental pollutants, your hair can be rapidly pushed out of its True (isoionic) Balance at any time, without you knowing it! This would require True Balance Corrective Treatment followed by the True Balance Maintenance program, identified only by the True Balance Hair Analyzer, to bring hair back to the ideal isoionic range. So, the only way to be sure your hair is healthy, is to Analyze Your Hairä and to treat and/or maintain it using True Balance products.

Q. I recently chemically processed my hair, why does my True Balance Hair Analyzer color result show that I am in the Balanced Zone Green (neutral/ isoionic balanced state) and not Zone 2 (Damage from chemical processing)?

A. Laboratory research and field studies have shown that porous chemically processed hair is vulnerable to strong acidic environmental pollutants. Eventually, the acidic pollutants will neutralize the hair to Balanced Zone Green and then rapidly transforms hair down to severe acidic environmentally damaged hair, Zone 1 Yellow. Therefore, it is concluded that not all chemically processed hair will result in a Zone 2 Blue Analyzer color result. That is why there is a need for you to Analyze Your Hairä with the True Balance Hair Analyzer. The Analyzer is so accurate that it pin-points exactly where your hair is at the moment of testing allowing the True Balance Maintenance products to maintain hair at its isontonic balance when the Analyzer color result is GREEN.

Q. I purchased the True Balance System, analyzed my hair, treated my hair, and now I am following the True Balance Maintenance program. When should I analyze my hair again?

A. We like to think of it as a "check-up"... Always Analyze Your HairTM again upon completion of every True Balance Maintenance program, especially if your hair was exposed to environmental pollutants or chemical processing. True Balance Corrective Treatment may be necessary again to restore hair to its isoionic balance. Always continue to maintain your hair at its isoionic balance with the True Balance Maintenance program.

Q. I am presently using True Balance Zone 1 Corrective Treatment and plan to follow with the True Balance Maintenance program. I recently chemically processed my hair while using the Corrective Treatment so what should I do?

A. You should always continue, and never interrupt, a True Balance Corrective treatment followed by the True Balance Maintenance program regardless of what you do to your hair during this time. Wait until you are finished with the Corrective Treatment and Maintenance program, then Analyze Your Hairä again. True Balance Corrective Treatment may be necessary again to restore hair to its isoionic balance if you chemically processed your hair during a Treatment or Maintenance program. Always continue to maintain your hair at its isoionic balance with the True Balance Maintenance program.

Note: It is advised that you continue the use of Zone 1 Corrective Treatment as part of your Corrective Treatment identified by the True Balance Hair Analyzer, even after you chemically process your hair. The reason for this is that your hair is damaged from environmental pollutants and you must first use Zone 1 Corrective Treatment followed by the maintenance program before you can treat your hair for possible damage caused by chemical processing.

Q. What should I do with the remaining True Balance Corrective Treatment after my initial treatment?

A. Simply follow the directions on the back of the bottle. After initial Corrective Treatment, continue using the Treatment as a daily conditioner until bottle contents are finished. Proceed with the True Balance Maintenance program.

Q. Is it possible that I will over-correct or over-treat my hair with True Balance Corrective Treatments?

A. No, it is not possible to over-correct or over-treat your hair with True Balance Corrective Treatments.

Q. Why are "For Sale Only In Professional Salons" and "For Professional Use Only" printed on some of the True Balance bottles?

A. hairlogic.com is committed to providing you with the highest quality products, and a lot of times that means "professional" quality. Until now, True Balance was only available at salons. Now, True Balance is proudly offered to you on the internet by hairlogic.com exclusively.
